David has become a massive fan of the VCV software modular in recent months. Here's a small collection of patches he's assembled over the course of learning to use the package. These patches only use the free modules that either ship with the software or are available via the VCV library. They are provided free of charge, as-is and with no warranty, implied or intended.

  • 26-Feb-24 : Complex Ambient drone



    A super-handy generative ambient drone using Mutable Instruments and Surge modules, my go-to for starting off a steady drone patch.

    The randomised tones give me the warm fuzzies. I use this for meditating or just drowning out the neighbours.

  • 10-Feb-24 : Hugh Generative Patch



    My version of a patch I found on Patch Storage dot com. I used this on a SkinMechanix music video over on YouTube.

    This patch is pretty complex. You'll need a fairly well-specified machine if you want to avoid 100% CPU usage.
